Family pictures...finally!

It is about time we get some family pictures done. We had these taken at Logan and Camille's wedding, and most of them turned out great. I still can't get a good pictures of my two little boys together!

Kyson sits up!

Kyson has recently started sitting up. He is still a little unstable, but does prety good. I tried getting him to smile, but he was concentrating too hard on trying to sit. And here is cute little Gavin.

New obsession

Gavin has found a new obsession. He LOVES trains now. We have been having fun with his obsession too. Casey loves to look online and find new tracks to get him, and we get just as excited as Gavin does when we set up a neat track.

Little Gamer

Since Gavin has his new obsession with trains, I thought I'd look online and see what games they have on the computer for him to play. We found a little website that has games that he can play on his own. It is pretty cute seeing this little 2 year old understand how to click, point, drag, etc. Here is a little video of him playing a game. I didn't help him at all. He knew exactly where to click and what to do. Don't you love the head resting on the hand? He usually does this when he eats too.

Kyson is 5 months!

My little baby is now 5 months old today! Casey thinks he has been here forever, and I think the time has flown. He is such a sweet baby, we love him so much! At 5 months, Kyson:

-Rolls over (tummy to back, which is a pain because he hates being on his back and gets mad everytime he does it!)
-Visited Nevada and California
-Does not like long car rides
-Can fall asleep in my arms, in his bed or in his car seat.
-Blows bubbles
-Plays with toys
-Sucks on his two middle fingers, or the whole fist, whichever...
-Loves his big brother
-Is starting to "talk"...and gets really loud when he is happy

Lake Tahoe Trip

We had quite the vacation! What was suppose to be a 4 day trip turned into 7 because of car problems. Autumn's car broke down about 2 hours away from Tahoe, in the middle of no where, in the middle of construction, in the middle of the day, in the middle of 102 degree weather. Luckly we were following my parents who have AAA, and we had a tow truck come get us. About 5 miles down the road, the tow truck broke down! So, again, AAA helped us out and sent us a taxi to take us to Reno to get a rental car. The mechanic wasn't able to fix the car (we find out a couple of days later when the car broke down again!), so Autumn and I stayed out the rest of the week with my parents and Alicia and Bob's family and we towed the car home.

But, if you have to be stuck somewhere longer then planned, Tahoe is the place to be. It actually turned out to be a really nice trip. Lake Tahoe is BEAUTIFUL! It is clean and has sandy beaches and is surrounded by beautiful pines. We had fun doing many things including:

Playing in the pool at the condo. The kiddie pool is only 1 1/2 feet deep, so Gavin had no problem running around in it. Kyson also enjoyed the pool

Playing trains

Visiting Taylor Creek. This was a fun little walk to a creek that runs into Lake Tahoe. They have an area where you can see in the creek and see all the fish. Gavin loved the fish.

Visiting the lake.

Taking walks to the lake.

Spending time with Grandma and Grandpa
Taking a gondola ride to the top of the mountian for lunch and a view.

Oh, and more time at the beach.
