No, I don't feed my baby grape popsicles

It may look like I fed Kyson a grape popsicle, but this is just medicine I have to put on his tongue, and it stains BAD! This is the third medicine we have tried to get rid of his thrush, so hopefully it works, and hopefully I don't get it stained on anything important.

But my shoes are on!

This is Gavin getting upset at me because I was taking too long to take him outside. I told him to go get his shoes on, so, he put some shoes on (he was too lazy to go upstairs to find his shoes), and he was ready to go outside!

Funny Story

I have a funny potty story about Gavin. We have put off potty training since the baby came. Every once in a while we'll put him on the toilet, but we haven't been pushing it a whole lot. Today Gavin was in the tub, and I was in the other room doing something. I heard Gavin get out of the tub, and then I heard "Mom! I peeyewed (spelling?)!" I was pretty sure he was just jabbering, but I yell to him "Did you go in the toilet?" and he replied "Yes! I peeyewed!" I went in to find him sitting, trying to balance himself on the toilet, and he had in fact, gone poop! He then got off, flushed the toilet, got on, and tried again. I know this is a rare occurance, that won't happen again anytime soon, but I thought it was pretty funny.

My Little Trucker

As you all know, Gavin loves trucks. When driving down the road, he is sure to point out all the trucks he sees. My neighbor drives a big semi, and let Gavin take a ride in it. He was so excited and had so much fun.

Our Future Construction Worker...

I think Gavin is going to be our little construction worker. He is OBSESSED trucks. They have been putting in the secondary water system on our street today, so we had all kinds of trucks working on the road. Gavin spent the most part of his day either watching them out the window, or outside sitting on the grass watching them. He gets nervous when they get close, so he was content to just sit on our laps to watch them. Who knew road construction could be so exciting.
"oooh!"

Happy Mother's Day!

Happy Mother's Day to the two great moms in our life!

Grandma Deana Grandma Barbara
I had a great Mother's Day as well. Barbara was sweet and wanted to make dinner for her grandchildren's moms. We had fun playing outside in the beautiful weather. Later, we went to my parent's and enjoyed good food that my dad made.

Twins!

I thought my little boys looked so cute in their matching outfits, so, of course, I had to take some pictures. Gavin thought it was pretty exciting when he saw Kyson was wearing the same thing.

Kyson's Blessing

Casey gave Kyson a beautiful blessing today at church. After, we had both our families over for breakfast (Casey's family) and lunch (my family). We were really worried about the weather, because our place is so small, I didn't want everyone crammed into the house. But the weather was great, and it was nice to sit out and enjoy it.

My mom knit Kyson's blessing outfit. Kylie pushing Gavin
Kylie looked so adorable in her pretty dress and curly hair.

Gavin is such a good eater. I fed him breakfast before church, then he had breakfast when Casey's family came over, and then he insisted on eating lunch a little while later.

Our yard

When we bought our house, we had to chose between the house with the big backyard, little front yard, or the house with the big front yard, and little backyard with 2 big trees. We took the one with the trees. But over the last couple of years, because of all the shade in the backyard, what little grass we had, was getting thinner and thinner. Last year we tried to plant shade grass, but that didn't go so well, so this year we took most of it out and landscaped it. We wanted it done by Kyson's baby blessing, so every nice day we had, we tried to work on the yard. Casey was amazing and did pretty much all of it, usually while he was tending our 2 boys while I was at work. We just need to replant some grass and make a sandbox!

My amazing husband finally relaxing.
