Christmas 2015

We had a wonderful Christmas.  It is so sad to see it go!

Christmas Eve-
Our Christmas Eve tradition is to wear our pajamas all day and watch Christmas movies and eat.  We watched The Grinch, Home Alone 1 and 2 (the boys' favorite!), Polar Express and Elf.  Casey and I watched The Christmas Story and National Lampoons Christmas Vacation that night.  We wait all year to watch these movies!

Later that evening we went to my parents and enjoyed more food, and visiting.  The kids did the Nativity and they did really good.  I don't think any tears were shed and they knew what to do!  My favorite part was watching an old family video of all of us when we were little.  I loved the memories it brought back of our old house.

Here are the kids in their Christmas pajamas

Christmas Day!
Here are the kids waiting for the traditional top of the stairs picture.  We got so much snow Casey was up shoveling early that morning.  I sat in bed waiting for the kids to wake up.  They finally woke up at 7:45 and had to wait until Dad was done shoveling before we could go downstairs.
 Gavin's face is priceless!
 Legos!
 Skylanders Super Chargers
 Snuggling her Cinderella
Liam got a ball pit and he has loved it!

 Reading his new books

When I was thinking about what to get Casey, I didn't realize until afterwards that I got him things for the kitchen...he is our better chef in the house though!  He has always bugged me for a really big pot, so that's what he got!  He also got a food dehydrator
and nerf guns...still a kid at heart

Merry Christmas!

Happy Halloween!

Kyson loved carving his own pumpkin. He did pretty good!
Gavin's pumpkin was huge but he gutted it all himself and carved it himself!
 Addy loves her Ariel pumpkin!
 Do I eat this?

Happy Fall!

We had Fall Break this week and were able to do some fun Fall things.  We went to Thanksgiving Point for the Scarecrow Festival and saw some neat and creative scarecrows.  I got to take pictures of my cute kiddos...

The kids found leaves and that was the highlight of the Gardens

Today we went to the pumpkin patch down the road and the kids had so much fun picking out their pumpkins.  It started sprinkling while we were there, finally starting to feel like Fall.

Here is Kyson's cute pumpkin he found.  Kyson is such a happy boy who loves soccer.  He is constantly kicking his soccer ball around the house.   He is such a big helper with Liam and Adalyn.  He's always happy and willing to play with them.
I can't believe Liam is almost 2!  He's getting so big.  He's communicating so much now and can sign more, milk, dog, bath, eat and again.  He got Sure Step leg braces to help with walking and he does seem more confident and walks holding on to things a little more.  He's doing really well health-wise and we just go to the doctors for yearly check-ups.
Adalyn is a girl full of spice!  It is so much fun to have a girl.  She loves anything girly.  Right now princesses are what she's into right now.  She knows all the princesses and most of their songs and asks me to sing their songs all the time.  Cinderella has always been her favorite, but Snow White is a close 2nd.  She loves to play with Liam and many times I find the two of them in their room with the door closed just playing quietly.
Gavin has been having a great year at school.  He is still progressing with his reading and since 3rd grade is the year of book reports, I have enjoyed sitting with him and reading with him his chapter books.  He has been doing really well.  He loves his friends and is always wanting to play.  He's so responsible and every day comes home from school and always does his homework and piano without complaining or being asked to do it.  Love this sweet boy who first made me a mom!
