Our little man just turned 18 months! I can't believe he is already a
year and a half! Today we had a check-up with his cardiologist, Dr.
Day, and he is doing so well we won't have to go back for another year!
He still has some high pressure, but Dr. Day wasn't sure if it is
because of his Pulmonary Hypertension, or his hole, since we didn't do
an echo. But he didn't seemed too concerned. The great news is that
Liam jumped from the 3rd percentile in weight to the 9th pe
rcentile
in weight! Chocolate milk with heavy cream every bottle seemed to do
the trick! He said we can probably lay off the cream now since his
height is still in the 3rd percentile, and height and weight should be
in the same percentile.
Some things about Liam at 18 months:
-16 lbs 11 oz, 27 inches
-starting to crawl!! He army crawls a lot, but he will get on all fours more and more, especially out in the grass
-getting into standing
-eats really well! Even though he has no teeth yet, we are working on
having him eat more chunks of food that he can start to chew. Veggie
straws are his favorite!
-Drinks from a bottle most of the time, but
at meals he gets a little bit from a cup and straw and is FINALLY
starting to drink without it dribbling out his mouth
-says "all done" and "hi" often
-waves and clapsK
-LOVES the swings
-loves to play with toys
-loves watching Signing Time
We couldn't be happier with this little man's progress right now! Go Liam!
