Summer is here

It was a nice weekend getting some yard work done. I am loving this! I was able to get some flowers planted so we had some color in our yard and I was able to put in my little garden. Because our backyard is so shady, a garden wouldn't do well back there, so we decided to just plant them in pots and we'll see how they turn out! I planted some tomato plants, zuccini and cucumbers. I can't wait until they start growing!

I was able to volunteer at a "Hidden Garden Tour" this weekend for a little bit. It is like the Parade of Homes but for gardens. There were some really beautiful yards and it made me excited to get some landscaping done in my yard.
