Sick Baby

 Poor Adalyn got her 3rd ear infection with in a month.  She got hit hard with this one.  She just wanted to be held all day and so lucky Casey was able to have some snuggle time with her as she fell asleep in his arms many times that day.

Learning photoshop

 For Christmas, Casey got me Photoshop Elements 11 and a laptop to do my photo editing on (I took up too much space on our other computer!)  I have been playing around with Photoshop a little bit and was so proud to figure out how to take out blemishes and sharpen the image.  I have such cute little models I get to play around with!

Long day...

 I was gone one evening with and came home to find Kyson here...

I guess he got in trouble for something and went to sulk under the piano and fell asleep.  I love seeing my children sleeping...so calm

Big Girl!

 Our cute little Adalyn is getting so big!  She is so much fun.  I had to get a video of her doing her kisses.  She does that all the time. She says Dad and Mom, and kind of signs "more", but it really just looks like she is shaking both hands wildly in the air.  She is always right at my feet whenever I am loading or unloading the dishwasher so here are a couple of pictures of her doing that...

Sledding!

 We have LOVED having all this snow!  We have gone sledding 3 times this past week.  Twice with my family at the PG Jr. High and once with Casey's family in his parent's yard.  We thought it would be fun to get a picture of the 4 babies on a sled, someone had the bright idea to send them down the hill, carefully sliding next to them.  It worked the first time, but the second time we sent them down the hill, it tipped over and poor Adalyn got a face full of snow and a little bump.  Poor baby.   After a little cry, she was fine, but looks a little banged up.   The boys had so much fun.  Kyson was so cute and loved going down with anyone.  After the first day of sledding, Gavin prayed that we would go again with the whole family...even Dad.  Well, his prayer was answered, and we did go again, with Dad too.

 

Happy 2013!

 Happy New Year!  We had a great time at Doug and Autumn's for their annual New Years Eve party.  We had a Mario Kart tournament (which Casey won) and then played some Minute to Win It games.  Thanks Autumn and Doug for a good time!

Gavin's Piano Recital

Gavin had his first piano recital a few weeks ago.  I have been teaching him for a couple of months and he seems to like it!  Enjoy his beautiful song...I didn't notice the program he was holding until it was too late.

Merry Christmas!

 We hope you all had a wonderful Christmas! We had a great Christmas and loved that it was a white one! On Christmas Eve we did our traditional Christmas movie marathon and then after a nice dinner, headed over to my parents for games, nativity and presents.  Christmas morning, the kids let us sleep in to almost 8 and then to the tree we went.  After a visit from my parents we headed to Floyd and Barbara's and enjoyed spending time there.

Tis the Season

 We have had a wonderful Christmas season.  Today as I was putting away the Christmas decorations, Gavin said, "I'm going to miss Christmas."  I am too Gavin.  We did a lot of things this year, from decorating cookies, making decorations, making snowflakes, playing in the snow, visiting Santa, visiting friends, Christmas parties....we had fun!

Adalyn at 11 months

Our little Adalyn is almost 11 months!  She is so much fun right now. 
-She is easily entertained and plays with toys really well.
- She is just starting to take her first steps but prefers to crawl or walk with her little walker.
- She has FINALLY started sleeping through the night...yay!
- She weighs 15.2 lbs
- She LOVES her daddy.  She says "Dadda" when she sees him.  If you ask her where daddy is, she'll look around until she sees him and then says "Dadda"
