Merry Christmas!

We had a very nice Christmas. It was nice to be able to spend time with both of our families. We were able to talk to Logan, and that felt so good to hear his voice. I miss that boy! Only 6 more months! Gavin got some fun gifts, and Casey and I also got some great things.

Even though Christmas is a fun and enjoyable day, I can't forget about its true meaning. To celebrate the birth of my Savior. I am grateful for all he did, and for the blessings I receive because of him. I have a wonderful husband who treats me so good and makes me happy, a son who is as cute as can be, a home to keep us warm, jobs that support us, family who loves us, friends who care for us and much much more!

Merry Christmas!

Gavin did enjoy the wrapping paper...
His way of opening the presents.
He loved his toy truck from Grandpa and Grandma Losee
He loves his music table he got from Papa Bill and Grandma Deana

Our Christmas Eve Tradition

I don't know if it is because we have been sharing traditions in my 1st grade class, or the fact that we have Gavin now, but I have been really wanting to start some traditions with our little family. So, today we started our Christmas Eve tradition. We stayed in our pajamas all day and watched Christmas movies and drank hot chocolate. Later, we enjoyed a yummy turkey dinner. It was so nice and relaxing! I think we'll keep this tradition next year!

Gavin didn't really watch the movies...he either played, or slept. Our yummy turkey

My Santa Baby

I am so blessed to have this beautiful baby boy! Here he is posing in his Santa hat and Christmas pajamas (they say "Don't open until Christmas"). He is getting harder and harder to take pictures of, because he doesn't want to sit, he wants to get my camera. Here are the few that turned out. Merry Christmas!

I can feed myself!

Last night, I was feeding Gavin his cereal, and there was a knock on the front door. After answering it, I come back to this! I let him finish feeding himself because he was having to much fun, and then up to the tub he went!

8 months old!

Gavin is now 8 months old! The word that best describes him right now is busy. He is one busy little boy. Now that he can crawl, he is into everything! He is a little cuddler too. He loves being held. He also makes lots of noises. Mostly "dada" and "lala". We are working on "mama"...although he probably doesn't know what it means!

He is a mama's boy, but he also loves it when he spends time with Dad. Yesterday, he was playing in his room, and Casey walked in, and Gavin got so excited. He is lucky he gets to spend time with both of us everyday.

He is still such a tiny baby. We finally moved him into his 6-9 months clothes, only because they were more wintery. They are a little big on him!

We are excited to see how he will like his Christmas presants. He will probably be more into the paper then the actual gift!
Loves his big lion

Look how big I am!

It is starting...

We got out a little walker toy to see if Gavin would like it. He loved it! It makes music, and he probably likes that the most. But he also loves that he can get around with it. He loves his big lion, so he will walk, pushing his toy, to it. What a big boy!

Sitting on Santa's lap

My parent's had a ward Christmas party, and Santa came, so I had to take Gavin to go see him. Gavin has been very clingy lately, so when I sat him on Santa's lap, he started crying and reaching his arms to me. What a stinker! Maybe next year it will be better!

Braxton was so cute! He was so excited to see Santa. On the drive over, he said, "Brynnie, I am so happy! I get to see Santa!" When Autumn asked him what he was going to tell Santa what he wanted for Christmas, he said, "I want a motercycle car, like Emma's" (Emma is his little friend, and she has a little car he wants). When it was his turn, he ran up to Santa, sat right on his lap and started talking to him. It was so cute! Mom! Help!

Our evening in Salt Lake

We had quite the evening Friday night. We took trax up to Temple Square and saw the lights, and then went to dinner at the Joseph Smith Memorial Building with family to support my cousin Nicole, who just graduated from Medical School.

We had quite the adventure coming home. It took us 2 hours to get home. We took trax, and once we got to 7800 South, they made us all get off a because there was a train that got derailed, and then we had to take buses to 90th South, where we were able to get on trax again and take it the rest of the way. Poor little Gavin was so tired, but was such a good little baby.

First ride on trax Cheese!

Gavin loved looking at the lights!

All bundled up!

Making our gingerbread house

We had fun tonight making a gingerbread house. We aren't great decorators, but it turned out cute!

Here puppies!

Gavin thinks it is funny to throw his food down to the dogs. The dogs don't mind!

Who needs toys?

When Gavin is playing with his toys, I usually will sit and read or work on my computer. Once he sees what I am doing, he stops whatever he is doing and crawls as fast as he can to me. Today it was my computer. He is like his daddy, loves the computer!

Standing boy!

Every time Gavin wakes up from his nap, this is what I see. It was a sad day when he found out he can pull himself up to stand. We hadn't lowered the crib yet, and he figured out he could stand up, so one day after his nap, he pulled himself up and toppled out. Poor baby! That is quite the fall! He seemed fine, just wanted to be held. Get me out!

Let it snow!

I can't believe how much snow we got today, and it still is coming down strong! Gavin really likes the snow. He got all excited when I sat him down in it.

We had a few Christmas parties this week. It was a great way to start off the month of December and get into the Christmas spirit. On Tuesday we had my work Christmas party. I was in charge of putting the party together, so it was a little crazy getting everything ready for it, but it turned out really nice. We had the dinner at a nice place, and had wonderful food from BYU catering. Yesterday we had our ward Christmas party where Santa came. Gavin was very tired and fussy, so no pictures with Santa. Then today, we had a Christmas party with Casey's family. We have a lot more Christmas parties to come that I am really looking forward to! Sticking out his tongue to catch the snow.

Mischief!

Now that Gavin can crawl, he is getting into everything he is not suppose to get into! When he plays in his room, the first thing he goes to is his book shelf and pulls out all the books. What a little stinker!

Help control the pet population!

Poor little Belle got spayed yesterday. No more puppies for us! Our last batch was a little too tramatic for us, so we decided to get our dogs fixed. Bear goes in next month. Belle has been recovering well. She hasn't been bothering with her stitches, but we still got her the cone to wear on her head just in case. She keeps running into things with it on her head. It is pretty funny.

Good looking boy

I thought Gavin looked so cute all dressed up for church, so I had to get some pictures before he spit up and got all messy! What a good looking boy!

Peek-A-Boo!

Gavin just learned, that if he pulls the bumper pads down, he can see everything in his room. Today we had a lot fun playing peek-a-boo. He kept pulling the bumper pads down when I would say "peek-a-boo", and laugh. He is such a funny boy!
