Swim Lessons

I love it when it is time for swim lessons.  The kids have such a good time and learn so much!  I take them to PG pool, and Kyson and Bailey are in the same class, and Adalyn and Avery are in the same class so that really helped them on the first few days.  Gavin is my little fish and did so great.  He has learned to swim with his head in the water, learned backstroke and how to dive.  Kyson loved his teacher and had fun...sometimes too much fun where he wouldn't pay attention  Addy did great for her first year. When we would get there she would look for her teacher and even if she was really far away, she'd wave and say "Hi teacher!"

Toothless!

7 Months!

Liam is 7 months old today! I wish time would slow down. I do feel like I get to enjoy each stage a little longer with him. We finally graduated from size 1 diapers and 0-3 month clothes. He is still just a tiny little guy! We are happy with his progress. He rolls over like a champ and is getting stronger with sitting up. He's doing great eating solids and LOVES it. We saw a urologist this week for him and he'll be going in for surgery on the 28th for his un-descended testicle and circumcision. We'll also do an echo on his heart then and see if he can get off oxygen. He's such a tough little guy and we just love him to pieces!!

4th of July!

4th of July Fun! We enjoyed the morning watching the balloons in Provo. Adalyn LOVED watching all the balloons and would wave and say "bye-bye" whenever one would take off. Then when we were sitting watching them, she'd yell "come back!"  This is probably Gavin's favorite holiday.  He looks forward to it for weeks.  He even wrote a book about it for his homework!

And Liam enjoyed his 1st 4th of July.  He  LOVED the fireworks and would kick his little legs!

Zoo Day!

Our very favorite place to visit is the zoo!  We had an appointment up at PCH for Liam to see a Urologist. It was a quick appointment, so we brought the kids with us and and decided to stop at the zoo when we were done.  It was so hot but so still fun!  We enjoyed seeing the new part of the zoo opened up and loved riding the train!
 

Cascade Springs

 Thanks to Liam we have enjoyed our Free National Parks Pass a couple of times this last week.  We hiked up Timp Cave (it was harder then I remember!) and today we went to Cascade Springs.  Such a beautiful place!

FOOD!

 After we got back from our trip to St. George, I thought it was time to start this little man on rice cereal.  I was really nervous about it because babies with Down syndrome have a hard time eating because of their tongues.  But Liam did great and he loved it!  So proud of this little man!

6 months!!

 I can't believe this little boy is 6 months! He finally passed up 10 lbs. and is now 10 lbs. 2 oz. wohoo!  His heart is doing good, but he is still on oxygen for his pulmonary hypertension. We did a test at night to test his oxygen and he did great so even though he has a couple holes they aren't making him work too hard,

His eyes are doing great and his vision therapist has been a big help.  He is tracking things and loves looking and interacting with people.  He does have Nystagmus (shaky eyes) and we're not sure if he has crossed eyes or not.  Usually those are all related.

He started rolling over at about 5 months and we are working on sitting up. 

Last week we did a special walk with the United Angels Foundation to celebrate our little Liam.  We feel so blessed to have this little angel in our life!
