I'm in!

I just found out last Thursday that I got accepted into the Elementary Education program at UVSC. So two more years of school for me, but it will be enjoyable!

Casey and I recently went and bought a lawn mower and a weed wacker for our yard, so last weekend and this weekend it was fun getting out and getting the yard cleaned up. Our grass was getting so long that just our front yard's grass clippings had filled our whole garbage can! It looks good now that it is all cut. I am now planning on what I want to do with the yard this year. I do want to put in a garden, so I'll be starting a little one with green beans, carrots, tomatos and cucumbers. We have two big trees in our backyard, so I want to get a hammock to put out there.

On Saterday we had a bar-b-que at our house. Autumn and Doug, James and Charity and Al and Andrea all came. We had some good steaks and Autumn made a fruit pizza for dessert. The boys went up to play some War Craft and us girls got some scrapbooking done.

Easter Weekend

We had a fun Easter Weekend. On Saterday, we headed up to Taylorsville to Casey's Aunt's house and we had a lunch and then the big Easter Egg hunt. It was cute seeing all the little kids out there filling their bags full of candy!

On Sunday, we went up to my sister, Alicia's house and had a bbq up there. It was a nice weekend.

This weekend we also got new house guest. James and Charity surprised us and got here late Friday night. It has been fun having them here with us!

St. George

We had a fun weekend going down to St. George. We left late Thursday night after I got off of work. On Friday we wanted to go get McGriddles for breakfast, we had to run down there before they stopped serving breakfast. Because I thought we were just going to go through the drive through I just went in my pj's, no make-up and no shoes. Well, since the drive up line was long, we had to go inside and make our order. Casey made me go in looking like I had just got up! But we got our food, and it was great! That afternoon, Logan had a tennis tournament down there and did good. They one their first match and lost their second. That evening we went to dinner at Outback and stuffed ourselves!

Saterday we took our time getting up and ready for the day. We went and watched Logan's final tennis match. Which he won. Autumn and I then went shopping, because you can't go to St. George and not go shopping at the Outlet stores. We got some good stuff! That night we went to dinner at Red Lobster where we tried some crab. It was really good!

Sunday we cleaned up and headed home. It was a fun weekend! This week will be my Spring Break, so I am going to spend that time getting the room ready for James and Charity to come. They are going to be living with us for a couple of months until their home gets built. Fun fun!
