Liam's 1 month old!

I can't believe this little boy is already a month old!  It has been quite the month for us, between doctor visits and Christmas, it seems to have flown by so fast!  This last week we went in for his 1 month check-up and he is doing great gaining weight.  Just a little update on how he is doing:
-He is now 6lbs 10 oz and is 20 inches long.  He is still having a hard time nursing, but takes the bottle great so me and my pump have been great friends.
-He is now only on oxygen at nights, which is so wonderful!  I feel like I have a little bit more freedom now.
-He just got a shot to help prevent RSV and hopefully that will help ease my mind about him getting sick.
-We just found a cataract in his right eye, and will go see a pediatric opthamologist this week.

He still sleeps almost all day and night, but we have seen him awake more and more.  He is still such a good baby.  We are so lucky to have this sweet little boy with us!

You can see the cataract in his right eye here...poor little guy!

He's still so tiny! How cute! We have a little girl just a couple months older than Jackson who has had a lot of eye problems and has undergone a lot of surgeries but man, PCMC has some amazing people doing amazing things. She was going blind in one eye but now can see and last I heard she's been great. We used Dr. Young out of Riverton PCMC. She is amazing and I have a friend who had a son born at 25 weeks and had very limited vision and she's been able to help him to see again. So if you ever need a good referral she is incredible and so good to work with! :)
