Easter

We had a really nice Easter. We had my family over for dinner that evening. I cooked a pot roast and everyone else brought the salad, drinks and dessert. After we all ate, we had the Easter Egg hunt. Damon was so good finding all the eggs on his own. He probably had more fun throwing the eggs, then finding them! Braxton needed a little help finding the eggs, but was so excited once he saw one. We also had a little Easter hunt for the dogs. We threw the dog treats around the yard and thought they'd be able to find them on their own. But the dogs weren't as bright as the kids, and we had to show them where all the treats were. It was a really fun evening!

Conference Weekend

This was such a relaxing weekend for me. I have been really busy this past week doing my student teaching for this semester. We go out for 3 weeks each semester and teach out in the schools. I am at Farrer Elementary teaching 4th grade. I have been having a lot of fun, but this is the week where we have taught most of our lessons. So I was excited to have a weekend of sleeping in and relaxing watching conference.

On Saturday we had dinner at my parents house and then while the boys were at the Priesthood session, we watched a movie and made fruit pizza. On Sunday we went to Casey's parent house and had pizza there in between sessions.

I am excited for this next week because I will be having my second Spring Break. A couple of weeks ago we had Spring Break through UVSC, and then now that I am out student teaching, the school I am at also has their Spring Break.

My little brother, Logan just got his mission call today. We all met at 9:30 to watch him open the letter. He got called to the Rio Degenario, Brazil mission. He leaves on June 28, so we have a few months with him. We will really miss him. There isn't a weekend where he isn't at our house. I think we all will have a hard time when he leaves. He'll be fine, but we will be the ones who will struggle!

This weekend Damon was able to come down and see the new puppy. He loved carrying her around the house. Bear loves to come up and start play bitting Belle, and Damon would get so mad and Bear because he thought he was hurting Belle.

Braxton also had a lot of fun with the puppy. He loves giving kisses to anyone and anything, so Belle got a lot of slobber on her!
