Picture crazy

I went a little picture crazy. We went to Thanksgiving Point and I took a million pictures of Gavin...

We went with the Hildebrants. He was the Bishop when my mom first joined the church and was very infuential in her life. She lost contact with them when she moved to Utah MANY years ago, but recently became in contact with them.

On Monday's they have some fun FHE activities all around the gardens. Damon, Kylie and Braxton had fun playing with the sidewalk chalk on the platform.

Swimming!

Unlike most people, I was so excited for this 90 degree weather so I could spend time at the pool. We have a membership at the AF pool, and I have been waiting for some good summer weather, so we could go and enjoy the cool water. I have a feeling we'll be spending a lot of time here! Gavin did pretty good. He is like me, and is a wimp when it comes to cold water, so he and I just hung out in the shallow area. Maybe when Uncle Logan comes home from his mission (IN 9 DAYS!!!), he'll get Gavin out there splashing around.

Happy Father's Day Casey!

Gavin and I had fun spoiling Casey today. Casey is such a wonderful Dad to Gavin, and a great husband to me, we had to make his day special. Gavin's first presant was that he played in his crib until 9:00 this morning, so that Casey could sleep in. Then we made him is favorite breakfast...pancakes. I was so excited to have Casey open his presants from Gavin and I. We surprised Casey and got him a Miter Saw, which he wasn't expecting at all. At church, Gavin's next presant to Dad was that he was really good and went to nursery, so Dad could actually sit and enjoy the lessons. Later, we went and visited our families and wished our Dad's a Happy Father's Day.

I am so lucky to be blessed with a great father, a great father-in-law and a great husband. Happy Father's Day Casey, Bill and Floyd! We love you very much!

Play date at the park...

We had a little play date at the park with my girlfriends and thier kids. It was a lot of fun to see everyone! All the little babies are getting so big! We are finally getting some baby girls to add to the group with the new additions of Sophie (Stacy's baby) and Madalyn (Laura's baby). Before these two, EVERYONE had boys...so our boys outnumber the girls by far! Thanks Laura for putting this on!

Thanks for the picture Ashley! I stole this off her blog.

Relay Triathlon

My sisters and I did a relay triathlon this morning. It was really fun to do it with my sisters. I started it off running the 5K, Autumn biked the 8 miles, and Alicia swam the 500 meters. I wasn't very fast, but Autumn and Alicia made up for it! We did it in 1 hour and 20 minutes. Not bad!

Here I am ready to start.

Day at Lagoon!

Yesterday we spent the day at Lagoon with my family. This week was teacher appreciation week there, and since everyone in my family is either a teacher, or is married to a teacher, we thought we'd take advantage of the discounted price and have fun as a family. I didn't know how Gavin would be, especially since all of my nephew's and niece had a hard time riding the rides the first time they went. He did pretty good on the first ride...but I think that scared him too much, he didn't want to go on any other rides unless he was with me. So he had fun on the Merry Go Round, Puff and the train. He mostly just sat in the stroller though, and he was fine with that. Thanks to my parents, Casey and I were able to go off and do the big rides on our own, so we had a lot of fun trying all the different roller coasters. My favorite is probably Collosis, but Wicked was a lot of fun too.

This was a video of Gavin's first ride...sorry if you get sick watching it.

This is probably Gavin's favorite part, standing in line hanging on the bars. Gavin didn't really like the bumper cars...
Casey and I are just about to get on the Jet StarGavin loved the Merry Go Round....

Weekend in Midway

We had a fun little getaway to Midway this weekend. It was nice to get out and spend some time with each other, without other distractions. We went swimming and had the whole pool to ourselves! We blew up the swimming tube, and Gavin liked sitting back and relaxing in it.

Gavin LOVED putting his feet in the hot tub.
Cute matching boys. (We didn't plan the matching shirts)

Helping Dad

Gavin loved helping Casey change the brakes on the car. He picked up the screwdriver and started fiddling around the tire like he knew what he was doing. I think he'll be our little mechanic someday.

Party at Grandma's

Barbara put on a Winnie the Pooh party with all her grandkids. She got them all Winnie the Pooh outfits and played some fun Winnie the Pooh games. Gavin had fun playing the games, and was so tired he ended up falling asleep in my arms.

Monkey

Gavin is such a monkey. He already climb on everything! Chairs, toys, and when he is outside, he finds the hammock. He will start on one end and climb all the way across to the other end. It is pretty serious business too, look at that serious face.

BBQ season begins!

This is my favorite time of year, because I love spending time outside. I love working in the yard, spending time at the pool, and having barbecues. We had a barbecue last night with our friends. Usually we start having barbecues in April, but because of the weather, we had a late start. We had an enjoyable night with GOOD steaks and homemade rootbeer.

Here are some cute pictures of the little 1 year olds. I took a million picture, and I couldn't get one with them all looking, atleast they were good and sat for a little while. Here they are sitting oldest to youngest. Abigail is on the left, she is 3 weeks older then Gavin and Carter, Gavin and Carter were born on the same day, and Brielle is 2 weeks younger then them. Yes, that is my son having the tantrum...I love how the other three are looking at him like, "What's his problem?"
We can't forget about Braxton. He loves his little friends.
