Tullip Festival

Today we went to Thanksgiving Point to take a walk around the garden and see all the beautiful tullips. We were able to get some good pictures with the tullips. While we were walking, there was a man who had found a snake. Braxton and Damon thought that was pretty neat. It was really ejoyable and relaxing.

Thumb sucker!

Gavin loves to suck on his fingers, and today I caught him sucking his thumb! I don't know what to think of this...I have a nephew who is a big thumb sucker, and when he was little, it was nice, because he was able to calm himself, but now that he is 2, it is a hard habit to break!

Enjoying the outdoors

Today Gavin was able to enjoy the outdoors for the first time. I layed him out on the grass in the shade and he took a nice little nap. It was nice to get out and pull weeds...my poor yard has been so neglected! Now that the weather is getting better, hopefully we'll be able to spend more time out there!

Tanning Baby

Gavin was a little jaudice when we left the hospital, so we had to go back today to get him tested. He still was jaundice, so we had a bed delivered that had neon lights that he had to sit under. It looks like a baby tanning bed. He didn't mind it too bad, but we thought he looked so cute with the little goggles on. We couldn't stop laughing!

Gavin Jay Losee

On Tuesday, April 17, we had a little suprise come two weeks early. That afternoon, Casey and I decided to go to the movies, since there was a little baby coming, we figured we wouldn't be able to do that as much. We bought our tickets, and were walking down the hallway to go to the theater, and my water broke! Being the geek I am, I did ask for a refund for our tickets...haha. We headed offf to the hospital around 5:00, and he was born that night at 10:58. He was 6 lbs and 7 oz, and was 19 inches long.

First bath...he didn't like it at all!
Getting ready to go home...

Dr. Liddle is a wonderful docter. Gavin came in good time because Dr. Liddle was leaving out of town on the 18th, so he was able to still deliver the baby, and enjoy his trip.

They are off!

I got my braces off on Tuesday! It was a long two years, but it was worth it!

Violin Recital

On Friday, we had our annual violin recital. It turned out really well. I currently have four students, Kaitlyn Jackson, Maryn Bement, Allie Fannin and Kristen Futrell. I had to quickly put it together, because I wanted to have it before the baby came. They all did very well. http://video.google.com/videouploadfinished?docid=-40456529641086847&cid=7b61f7e24906dce0

Happy Easter!

On Saturday, we had a little Easter Egg Hunt at my parents house. Damon had a fun time running around getting as many eggs as he could. His favorite egg was the egg with money in it! Braxton was a little unsure at first, but later got a hang of it. And little Kylie knew exactly what to do with the eggs when she found them (or when we found them for her). She would give the egg to my sister and say "Thank you", meaning, "Open my egg!" and then she enjoyed the candy. That little girl has a sweet tooth! She could eat candy all day!

Wingers

This is our favorite place to eat! Every time we go out to dinner with Autumn and Doug, Wingers is where we go...so it is quite often! We went this last weekend with Autumn, Doug and Braxton, and our friends Jess and Jared Larson and Mat Pledger.

Happy Birthday Logan!

We celebrated Logan's birthday by going out to Tucanos. You probably don't see Logan in the pictures, because he is still on his mission in Brazil. We just needed a good excuse to go eat some good Brazillian food! Logan has been doing great on his mission, and is really loving it there.

One month old

The puppies are a month old and are finally starting to do fun stuff. Today I got them out and they actually started playing with me! They also started barking, which was really cute (I know it won't be cute for long!).

Picking out their puppy

The Simmon's Family (Casey's sister) came over to pick out their puppy that they will be taking home in about a month. Tiffny is getting pretty excited and has been reading up on everything! Casey's parents will also be taking a puppy home too, so that will be fun to see a couple of the puppies on a regular basis. The kids had fun holding the puppies.

Visitors

We have had many vistors come and see the little puppies. Damon especially loved coming to see the puppies! I guess after he came to see them for the first time, he kept asking Alicia when he could come and see them again, so today he took a special trip down to see them and then spend the night at Autumn's. Braxton is not so sure about holding the puppies. He likes to look at them and touch them, and get mad at Belle and Bear when they get in the bed with the puppies.

Our long night

We had quite the night last night. Our little Belle is pregnant, and we knew that she was due to have her babies any day. On Sunday, we knew that Belle wasn't acting her normal self, so we were keeping a close eye on her. We had to go visit Casey's family, and since she was shivering (I later realized she was contracting), we just wrapped her up in a towel and I held her on the drive over. When we got to Casey's parent's house, I put Belle down, and when I did that, something fell out of the towel. She had given birth to one of the babies, and since we didn't know it was there, it had sufficated. We knew that she had at least two other puppies in her because a couple of days before we had x-rays taken and the vet could see 3 maybe 4 puppies. After 6 hours of nothing happening, we decided to take her to the Emergency Vet Clinic where they gave her a shot that moved the process faster, and she gave birth to two more puppies that came out just fine. The vet thought that she was done and had no more puppies, so we went home. We got absolutely no sleep because Belle wouldn't stay with the puppies, so I ended up sleeping on the floor next to her box and forced her to stay in there all night. Today while I was at work, Casey stayed home with her to make sure she was okay, and around 11:00, she had another puppy! She had 3 girls, and they are all doing fine. Belle is finally figuring out how to be a mom...and hopefully that means we'll get some sleep tonight!

Merry Christmas!

We had a really good Christmas. Yesterday for Christmas Eve we had dinner with Casey's family and then later went to my parent's house and had our gift exchange. We got our crib for the baby, vinal lettering to decorate the wall, expansion for Settlers of Catan-Cities and Knights, and more. Then on Christmas we were able to sleep in and then go to Casey's family for our gift exchange. We got from them some shelves for our garage so we can organize it a little better. It has been driving me nuts, so I'm excited to get those put up! We also got a blanket, fondue pot and more.

The highlight was being able to talk to Logan for about an hour. He is doing very well and it was fun to hear about his mission. He is in Brazil, and right now it is summer there, and he is really missing the snow.

It was a nice day to relax with family and enjoy each others company.

This is a picture of Casey pinning Aaron.

Christmas Parties

We have had quite a few Christmas parties over the last couple of weeks. Last Friday we went out to dinner with Alpine Echo, Saterday we had a party with Casey's family and then later that night we had another party with our friends. The pictures are from Casey's family Christmas party. We had it at the Warnicks, and since they sold their farm and land, they decided to have a hay ride around the farm, so we can all have a last good bye. It was really fun!

It's a boy!

We just found out today that we are going to be having a boy! We are really excited. For a while Casey kept saying that it was going to be a boy, and I kept saying that it was going to be a girl. I guess Casey won! I have been feeling him move for a couple of weeks now, and that has been a lot of fun.
