Bear Lake Trip

We had such a fun weekend up at Bear Lake! My whole family went up, plus my dad's cousin Sandee and her husband Rudy, another one of his cousins, Maryann, and another cousin's wife, Linda. It was a lot of fun. We shared a condo with Autumn and Doug, and Casey and I were lucky to get the Master Bedroom, with a jetted tub! That was fun to relax in! We had a lot of fun swimming, boating and eating!

Gavin loves to put almost anything in his mouth. Right now he is putting his toes in his mouth. It amazes me how flexible he is!

Gavin is a pretty lucky baby because he is surrounded by dogs and a cat. He loves to look at Belle and Bear and grab their hair and pull. His new thing right now is to put everything in his mouth, so when I gave him the puppy to hold, he immediatly started to put it in his mouth! Don't worry, I stopped him before he actually did it! He thought it was pretty fun to hold the little puppy though.
2 weeks old...they are sure fat! Hopefully their eyes open this week.

I pulled out the Johnny Jumper today to see if Gavin would like it. He loved it! He doesn't know how to jump with it yet, but he loves just standing there. I was playing with Bear, and throwing his toy, and I put his toy on Gavin's jumper, and he laughed so hard when Bear hopped up to get it!

The Blackout

We had a blackout last night for 13 hours. It was probably one of the best nights I have had being married. It made me really appreciate Casey and I love him even more. With the aid of candles and flashlights, we had a lot of fun playing our favorite game, Pounce, I read Harry Potter to Casey and we just sat around and talked. We should have blackouts more often!

Family reunion

Every year, Casey's family goes down to Delta for the annual family reunion. This was the first year I have been down there. I have heard all about the crazy aunts who fiddled and yoddled, but this was the first time I got to see it for myself. It was amazing...haha.

This was the first time Casey's Grandparents saw Gavin. They were very excited to see him. His Grandpa is getting very old and frail, but he wanted to hold Gavin. As he was holding him, both Grandma and I had our hands up ready to catch Gavin if he fell, because Grandpa was shaking so bad while he was holding him. He didn't hold him for long, but he was very happy to see him and hold him.

Yesterday, after Casey's help, Gavin rolled over for the first time. Now, all he does is roll over the minute he gets on his back! What a big boy!

Dr. Casey

Poor Casey had a busy day yesterday. After working from 5 A.M. to 11 A.M., he came home and had to deliver puppies all day, and watch Gavin while I was at work! While I was working she had two boys and a girl. We thought she was done, but later that evening while I was at Back to School Night, Casey delivered 2 more, one of which didn't survive. Luckly Gavin slept most of the time. We have 3 boys and 1 girl, all doing well. Belle is doing so much better with this set of puppies then she did with her first set. She seems like she knows what she is doing.

Treasure Hunt

On Sunday we went to Casey's parents house for dinner. After dinner, Barbara had a little treasure hunt planned for the kids. It was cute seeing them all run around trying to find the clues. In the end they all found their own treasure box with lots of toys and goodies.

4 Months!

Gavin is now 4 months old! We had his check up and shots on Tuesday. He is now 11 lbs 9 oz (5th percentile) and 23.5 inches long (10th percentile). He is just a little boy! He laughs a lot now, and is getting really close on rolling over! We sure love him to pieces!

Kiddie Kandids

We went to Kiddie Kandids to get pictures taken of the Losee kids, because James and Charity are moving to Arizona next week, and we knew it would be a while before we'd see them again. We had quite the experience! Gavin and Tiff's kids were SO GOOD, but Andee and Nick had a hard time. We finally gave up, and were happy with the picture of the screaming kids! Another plug for the Bumbo...I love it! Gavin loves to sit in it and watch me cook, eat, you name it! The other day he got his shots, so he wasn't very happy, and I was trying to cook. I put him in it, and put him on the counter so that he could see me, and he was so happy!

Park City

We went up to Park City this weekend and shared a hotel with Autumn, Doug and Braxton. They were up there because Doug had meetings, and Autumn and Braxton came along. Casey and I were going to go up and spend my birthday up there, but because I had meetings this week, we decided to wait until the weekend.

It was a nice little break. We went to dinner at The Redrock, and then spent the evening at the pool.

Guitar Hero

The other day, our friend JD brought over his XBox 360 and his Guitar Hero and we broke it out. It was so much fun! Here is a picture of us getting into it...I have a bad habit of playing wth my tounge when I am trying to concentrate.

Getting Big!

It amazes me how fast Gavin is growing up! He is now 3 1/2 months old. He is now a woppin' 12 pounds. We had to go to the Doctor's the other day because he spits up a lot, so we got some medicine and it has helped a lot! He now laughs, and I am trying to get a good video recording of it, so hopefully I'll post that soon! He loves to stand, especially in his crib, because he can hold himself up, so he feels like a big boy!

Tummy Time!

Tummy time isn't Gavin's most favorite part of the day. I have been trying to do a few times a day, and he is starting to like it more, but once he gets tired of it...he is done, and he lets me know he is done!
