Hiking the Grodo

We went on a fun hike up Payson Canyon. The kids all could do it and the reward at the end was a waterfall.

Gavin's piano recital

Gavin did awesome at his last recital.  We did duets and he played with his little friend Maisie.  So proud of this little boy!

Memorial Day

We had such a fun Memorial Day. We started the morning having breakfast with Casey's family and enjoyed the bounce house.  Later we met my family at Thanksgiving Point and enjoyed the gardens.  It was great being able to spend all day with our family!

Another 5k

I ran another 5k and did much better this week! I ran it in 32 min 20 seconds! I ran it with two friends Julia and Rachel. They sure pushed me!

Drenched!

I ran a 5K today at Thanksgiving Point.  It was a beautiful run and I felt great!  I poured the whole time so we got drenched!!  This is my friend Amy who ran it with me...39 minutes!

Midway Weekend

 We had a fun weekend up at Midway!  On Friday night I went to Park City with my girlfriends and we did some shopping and eating out and then headed to Midway to "sleep"...we talked most of the night but did get a little sleep.  Sadly no pictures from that night!

The next morning after my friends left, Casey and the kids came up and my whole family came up not long after that.  We wanted to celebrate Logan and Aaron graduating college.  Logan with his Bachelors Degree and he'll be moving on to Pharmacy School. And Aaron with his Masters in Business and he'll be moving on Business School.  We had a great time with everyone and were able to enjoy some good food and swimming.

Tulips!

 Oh I love tulips!  I finally planted my own tulips in my yard, so I get to see them every day!  We enjoyed the tulips at the Tulip Festival at Thanksgiving Point.

 And I had to throw this picture in.  Adalyn loves to go outside.  If the back door is open, she makes a beeline outside.  I gave her a drink one morning, and the door was open and she had to take it out and sit at her table to drink it.  She is such a big girl!

T-Ball

 I put Gavin and Kyson on the same T-ball team this year.  This is both of their first time playing, so it was a pretty funny game to watch them! Kyson hit the ball, and then immediately ran to get his ball.  He then ran from 1st to 3rd base, and a few times, just stood on his base and waved and smiled at me and didn't run when it was time.  Then, when it was his turn to be out field, he was playing 3rd base, and when the other team hit the ball, he started to run home.  He started to catch on by the time we got to the end.  Gavin did great and looked like a mini baseball player.  He'd rest his hands on his knees while he waited for the other team to hit the ball.  They had a blast!

Birthday Gavin!

  I can't believe my Gavin is 6!  That seems so old! We had a great day celebrating Gavin!  After school, we headed to one of his favorite places, the Dinosaur Museum, and then after that came home to his favorite dinner, Lasagna, and then family came over for cake and ice cream.

Some things about Gavin is:
-He is a VERY good boy at school and church.  He was just awarded Student of the Month for "being quiet" as he says.  His teacher said it was for good citizenship.  I guess being a good citizen is the same as being quiet.
-He is doing good in school.  He is reading on level and is a hard worker!
-He LOVES LOVES LOVES his hamsters.  First thing he asks me when he gets up in the morning is if he can hold a hamster, then any spare minute he has, he usually has a hamster in his hand.  He even prays for the hamsters in every prayer.
-He's a little builder.  He can spend hours out in the sandbox building something.
-He is a good brother and plays really good with his brother and sister.

It is suppose to be a Skylander portal...doesn't look as good a the pictures online, but oh well!

One of his presents was a kit where he can paint and glue together a train, plane and fire truck.  He wanted to get working on it so bad that he kept asking when is everyone going to leave his party! Finally the next morning he could work on it.  Adalyn has really been into coloring lately, so this is what she did while he worked on that....such a big girl!

Happy Birthday Gavin!  We are so happy you are in our life!
